I thought the noisy builders next door had gone, but they were back the last two mornings :(
To add insult to injury though, the Body Corporate of our units is renovating the central courtyard too, so now we have guys with jackhammers there as well.
This morning my BED was practically bouncing around on the floor. Crazy.
I really wouldn't mind, except that builders seem to start at silly o'clock.

that happened to me when I lived in north melbourne. When I moved in, they were building apartments next door, it went on for 18 months. I was working afternoons/nights the ENTIRE TIME. ie: didn't get home till midnight, didn't get up till 1pm, worked a lot of weekends so had weekdays off, they started at like 7am every day, it was murder.

At least here they aren't building anything so it has to end sooner or later..

The other day when the ground was literally shaking in my bedroom, it turned out they were replacing a stretch of grass with ASTROTURF.. and were using a machine that literally pounded the earth flat.. no wonder my floor was shaking, it was just outside my bedroom they were doing this :(

It's annoying that the rest of the world seems to conveniently forget that some people don't work 8:30-5:30pm mon-fri. I mean, those same people are happy that they can call tech support on a friday night, or pull into a service station at 3am, or a 7-11 at 5am, but forgot those people running the service need to sleep too some time! Grr
